On my way to BYOB
Few days back, I discovered sonething via social media that may give hope for me to plan possible ways to earn money, without having me to go through excruciating process of job interviews and confronting annoying people (TOXIC WORKPLACE). I have always wanted to work as a freelancer but trutfully speaking, living in a smal city like Miri, it appears to be impossible to gain opportunities in getting freelance jobs. Nevertheless, there's a bright side of this recent global pann demic, I guess. I've seen many have come with alternative ways to earn decent income.
Back to my latest discovery on the net, I came across an online training to be a full-time freelancer. To join the programme, the coach (her name is Iffah Syafiqah, currently doing her phD at one of the local universities and also a full-time freelance website and funnel builder, advised participants to download her e-book for FREE andjoin her online training via Telegram and Youtube. At first I was pretty skeptic, as more than a year ago I joined another programme (3rd party online selling via shopping platform; Shopee) and I found that e-commerce doesn't really sync with me (forget it if you ask me about MLMs, I almost signed myself up for disaster years ago after being coaxed into it by a family friend!)
So far I have attended 4 online sessions with Coach Iffah. I hope I will be able to find the solution to my financial woes. Frankly speaking, at this point of life I do not wish to surround myself with toxicity. All I want is to live my life peacefully and be free from financial problems. At least provide a little comfort for my family, Apak's not getting any younger and so am I (turning 40 next year, oh dear!)
Apart from the online training, my friend Claudia and I are planning to run a small business by next year. I am still figuring out what kind of products and services that we wuld like to offer the community and even racking off my brain of what sort of name we would like to give to this enterprise. This idea came to life thanks to another friend Joachim, who runs a fashion label here in Miri.
I'll end here for now, got to get some other works done for a bit. Will write again soon.
